This is a complete T-shaped glass partition kit measuring 7775mm wide across the front with a 3645mm divider running back from it. It costs from £3,088.54 excluding VAT and includes the toughened glass, two frameless glass doors, all the aluminium channel, gaskets, joins and door ironmongery. The complete partition components are supplied. Suitable fixings for the existing floor and ceiling structure are required separately.

The kit contains 6 glass panels in the front run and 4 in the divider, plus two 900mm doors and two 250mm infill panels, giving roughly 23.4 square metres of glass at the shortest height. Can the divider be moved?

Yes. The divider position can be selected during installation, provided it does not coincide with a dry join and maintains at least 150mm clearance from either door.

What arrives

The complete kit is supplied in one delivery. The glass includes 10 panels and two door leaves, with each item cut to size before dispatch. The aluminium components comprise 30mm U channel for the ceiling and 30mm two part channel for floor and walls, plus gaskets, the 180 degree dry joins between panels, and the abutment join that fixes the divider to the back of the front run.

Ironmongery is hydraulic floor pivots, top patches and 800mm H handles, two sets of each, with 250mm infill panels either side of the door openings.

Finishes available

All four channel colours cost the same, so select the finish to suit the interior scheme. Silver and anthracite are most common in offices, black in retail and hospitality. Door ironmongery is satin stainless or black, black adding £82.34 for the two doors.

Handling and fitting

This configuration includes a substantial quantity of glass. 10 panels and two door leaves require planned mechanical or team handling, so allow an appropriate handling team and confirm site access before delivery. Check delivery access, doorways and stairways before ordering.

The glass arrives at its finished size, so there is no cutting or drilling of glass on site. The aluminium channel comes in 3m lengths and is cut to suit as you fit it, and the kit includes a drawing showing the position of each panel.

Acoustics

Glass partitions reduce noise, they do not stop it, and a frameless door leaves a gap around the leaf. For higher acoustic performance, a framed door with 12.8mm acoustic laminate is the specification. The calculator prices that configuration.
