This is a complete T shaped glass partition kit measuring 8670mm wide across the front with a 3635mm divider running back from it. It costs from £3,953.37 including VAT and includes the toughened glass, two frameless glass doors, all the aluminium channel, gaskets, joins and door ironmongery. Nothing else is needed except fixings into your own floor and ceiling.

The kit contains 7 glass panels in the front run and 4 in the divider, plus two 900mm doors and two 250mm infill panels, giving roughly 25.2 square metres of glass at the shortest height. Choose your ceiling height from 2050mm to 2600mm and the price adjusts. Delivery is nationwide, in as little as seven working days.

How much does this glass partition cost?

Between £3,953.37 and £4,708.78 including VAT, depending on the ceiling height you choose and whether you want black ironmongery. At the most common height of 2400mm it is £4,371.21 with satin stainless handles.

That works out at roughly £156.88 per square metre of glass, which is the figure worth comparing against when you get a quote from an installer. It includes everything except fitting and the fixings into your own structure. Delivery is charged once per order at £100 plus VAT, however many kits are on it.

Height options

2050mm up to 2600mm in 50mm increments. Measure your opening in more than one place and work from the smallest figure, because floors and ceilings are rarely level. Anything taller than 2600mm, or a size in between, goes through the calculator.

Colours

Channel in silver RAL 9006, white RAL 9010, black RAL 9005 or anthracite RAL 7016, all the same price. Handles and hinges are satin stainless as standard, black for £98.81.

Handling and fitting

This is a large kit. 11 panels plus two door leaves is more glass than two people will comfortably move in a day, so plan for three or four on site and think about access before delivery. Panels of this height are awkward through a standard doorway and worse up a stairwell.

The glass arrives at its finished size, so there is no cutting or drilling of glass on site. The aluminium channel comes in 3m lengths and is cut to suit as you fit it, and the kit includes a drawing showing where every panel goes.

How much sound does it stop?

Enough for privacy, not enough for confidentiality. Frameless doors have a small physical gap around the leaf by design, so they are not an acoustic solution. Where sound matters more than the frameless look, specify a framed door and 12.8mm acoustic laminate, which you can price in the calculator.

Nationwide, in as little as seven working days from order. Delivery is £100 plus VAT charged once per order rather than per partition, so a second kit on the same order costs no more to deliver.

Can the divider be moved?

Yes. Nothing about the divider position is fixed until you fit it. Slide it along the front run to wherever the rooms need to be, keeping it off the dry joins between panels and 150mm clear of any door leaf.

What arrives

Everything, in one delivery. The glass comes as 11 panels and two door leaves, each one cut to size before it leaves us. With it comes the aluminium: 30mm U channel for the ceiling and 30mm two part channel for floor and walls, plus gaskets, the 180 degree dry joins between panels, and the abutment join that fixes the divider to the back of the front run.

Ironmongery is hydraulic floor pivots, top patches and 800mm H handles, two sets of each, with 250mm infill panels either side of the door openings.
