Middle of the range, 6860mm by 3635mm. The size most offices settle on once the space has been measured properly. £3,526.26 inc VAT and upwards.
This is a complete T shaped glass partition kit measuring 6860mm wide across the front with a 3635mm divider running back from it. It costs from £3,526.26 including VAT and includes the toughened glass, two frameless glass doors, all the aluminium channel, gaskets, joins and door ironmongery. Nothing else is needed except fixings into your own floor and ceiling.
The kit contains 5 glass panels in the front run and 4 in the divider, plus two 900mm doors and two 250mm infill panels, giving roughly 21.5 square metres of glass at the shortest height. Choose your ceiling height from 2050mm to 2600mm and the price adjusts. Delivery is nationwide, in as little as seven working days.
A T shaped glass partition wall, 6860mm across the front with a 3635mm divider. Two full height frameless doors sit in the front run. It is the middle of the range and the size most offices arrive at once they have measured properly.
Prices start at £3,526.26 including VAT and top out at £4,185.09 for the tallest ceiling with black ironmongery. A 2400mm ceiling, which is the most common, comes to £3,882.64.
The price on this page is the full kit price. It is not a starting point that grows once someone has been to site. Glass, aluminium, gaskets, joins and ironmongery are all in it, and the only extra is £100 plus VAT for delivery, charged once per order.
Healthcare and education both use this layout, where supervision through the wall matters and a solid partition would cause more problems than it solves. Glass is also easier to keep clean than a painted stud wall.
Twelve sizes between 2050mm and 2600mm. Above 2600mm the glass has to move to 12mm, which changes the price significantly, so taller openings are priced through the calculator rather than here.
Powder coated aluminium in four RAL finishes with no price difference between them. The ironmongery is a separate choice: satin stainless included, or black for £98.81.
9 panels and two doors is a comfortable day for two people who have fitted glass before, or a long day for two who have not. The glass is made to size, so the work is setting out, cutting and fixing the channel, then glazing. Channel is supplied in 3m lengths and cut as you go.
Fine for a quiet room, not right for an HR office. The gap around a frameless door leaf is unavoidable. For meeting rooms where that is not good enough, use a framed door with acoustic laminate, priced through the calculator.
In as little as seven working days. One delivery charge of £100 plus VAT per order however many kits are on it, which is worth knowing if you are buying more than one.
Yes. Nothing about the divider position is fixed until you fit it. Slide it along the front run to wherever the rooms need to be, keeping it off the dry joins between panels and 150mm clear of any door leaf.
Everything, in one delivery. The glass comes as 9 panels and two door leaves, each one cut to size before it leaves us. With it comes the aluminium: 30mm U channel for the ceiling and 30mm two part channel for floor and walls, plus gaskets, the 180 degree dry joins between panels, and the abutment join that fixes the divider to the back of the front run.
Ironmongery is hydraulic floor pivots, top patches and 800mm H handles, two sets of each, with 250mm infill panels either side of the door openings.
Or price any size with the glass partition calculator, which covers straight, corner and T shaped layouts and gives you a scale drawing, a full materials list and the channel cut lengths before you order.
