This is a complete T shaped glass partition kit measuring 7765mm wide across the front with a 5445mm divider running back from it. It costs from £4,075.81 including VAT and includes the toughened glass, two frameless glass doors, all the aluminium channel, gaskets, joins and door ironmongery. Nothing else is needed except fixings into your own floor and ceiling.

The kit contains 6 glass panels in the front run and 6 in the divider, plus two 900mm doors and two 250mm infill panels, giving roughly 27.1 square metres of glass at the shortest height. Choose your ceiling height from 2050mm to 2600mm and the price adjusts. Delivery is nationwide, in as little as seven working days.

About this size

The largest T shaped partition we make as a fixed size. 7765mm across the front, 5445mm deep on the divider, 12 panels of glass in total. This divides a whole floorplate rather than a corner of one, and the handling notes below are worth reading before you order.

How much does this glass partition cost?

Between £4,075.81 and £4,879.52 including VAT, depending on the ceiling height you choose and whether you want black ironmongery. At the most common height of 2400mm it is £4,524.38 with satin stainless handles.

That works out at roughly £150.40 per square metre of glass, which is the figure worth comparing against when you get a quote from an installer. It includes everything except fitting and the fixings into your own structure. Delivery is charged once per order at £100 plus VAT, however many kits are on it.

Positioning the divider

A common assumption is that the divider is centred. It is not. Put it wherever suits the rooms you are making, avoiding the dry joins between panels and keeping 150mm away from any door leaf.

Everything included

You are not buying a frame and sourcing glass separately. The kit contains the 12 glass panels, both door leaves, all the aluminium channel, the gaskets that go into the channel cleats, every dry join, the abutment join for the divider, and the full set of door ironmongery in your chosen finish.

The only thing you provide is the fixings into your own floor and ceiling, because those depend on what you are fixing into.

Typical use

At 7765 by 5445 this usually goes into open plan offices that need two meeting rooms rather than one large one. The glass keeps daylight moving through the floor, which is normally the reason for choosing glass office partitions over stud in the first place.

Getting the height right

The dropdown covers 2050mm to 2600mm. Take your measurement at both ends of the run and in the middle, then use the smallest. If none of the twelve matches, the calculator prices your exact size and gives you a scale drawing with it.

Colours

Channel in silver RAL 9006, white RAL 9010, black RAL 9005 or anthracite RAL 7016, all the same price. Handles and hinges are satin stainless as standard, black for £98.81.

Handling and fitting

This is a large kit. 12 panels plus two door leaves is more glass than two people will comfortably move in a day, so plan for three or four on site and think about access before delivery. Panels of this height are awkward through a standard doorway and worse up a stairwell.

The glass arrives at its finished size, so there is no cutting or drilling of glass on site. The aluminium channel comes in 3m lengths and is cut to suit as you fit it, and the kit includes a drawing showing where every panel goes.

How much sound does it stop?

Enough for privacy, not enough for confidentiality. Frameless doors have a small physical gap around the leaf by design, so they are not an acoustic solution. Where sound matters more than the frameless look, specify a framed door and 12.8mm acoustic laminate, which you can price in the calculator.

Delivery

Nationwide, in as little as seven working days from order. Delivery is £100 plus VAT charged once per order rather than per partition, so a second kit on the same order costs no more to deliver.
