This is a complete T-shaped glass partition kit measuring 5965mm wide across the front with a 3645mm divider running back from it. It costs from £2,732.62 excluding VAT and includes the toughened glass, two frameless glass doors, all the aluminium channel, gaskets, joins and door ironmongery. The complete partition components are supplied. Suitable fixings for the existing floor and ceiling structure are required separately.

The kit contains 4 glass panels in the front run and 4 in the divider, plus two 900mm doors and two 250mm infill panels, giving roughly 19.7 square metres of glass at the shortest height. About this size

A compact T-shaped office glass partition. The front run is 5965mm across with two glass doors in it, and the 3645mm divider comes back to split the space behind into two. It fits a single structural bay in most offices, where you want two rooms without committing the whole floor to a fixed layout.

How much does this glass partition cost?

How much sound does it stop?

The frameless system provides moderate speech privacy but is not intended for confidential rooms. Frameless doors have a small physical gap around the leaf by design, so they are not an acoustic solution. Where sound matters more than the frameless look, specify a framed door and 12.8mm acoustic laminate, which you can price in the calculator.

Nationwide, typically within 7–10 working days from order. Delivery is £100 excluding VAT charged once per order rather than per partition, with no additional delivery charge for a second kit on the same order.

Can the divider be moved?

Yes. The divider position can be selected during installation, provided it does not coincide with a dry join and maintains at least 150mm clearance from either door.

What arrives

The complete kit is supplied in one delivery. The glass includes 8 panels and two door leaves, with each item cut to size before dispatch. The aluminium components comprise 30mm U channel for the ceiling and 30mm two part channel for floor and walls, plus gaskets, the 180 degree dry joins between panels, and the abutment join that fixes the divider to the back of the front run.

Ironmongery is hydraulic floor pivots, top patches and 800mm H handles, two sets of each, with 250mm infill panels either side of the door openings.

Typical use

At 5965 by 3645 this configuration is suitable for open-plan offices that need two meeting rooms rather than one large one. The glass keeps daylight moving through the floor, which is normally the reason for choosing glass office partitions over stud in the first place.

Getting the height right

The dropdown covers 2050mm to 2600mm. Take measurements at both ends of the run and in the middle, and specify the smallest measurement. If none of the twelve matches, the calculator prices your exact size and gives you a scale drawing with it.

Colours

Channel in silver RAL 9006, white RAL 9010, black RAL 9005 or anthracite RAL 7016, all the same price. Handles and hinges are satin stainless as standard, black for £82.34.

Fitting it

The glass is made to size, so the work is setting out, cutting and fixing the channel, then glazing. Channel is supplied in 3m lengths and cut as you go.
