A 5445mm divider running back from a 5050mm front. Eleven glass panels, two doors, and every fitting to hang them. From £3,459.14 inc VAT.
This is a complete T shaped glass partition kit measuring 5050mm wide across the front with a 5445mm divider running back from it. It costs from £3,459.14 including VAT and includes the toughened glass, two frameless glass doors, all the aluminium channel, gaskets, joins and door ironmongery. Nothing else is needed except fixings into your own floor and ceiling.
The kit contains 3 glass panels in the front run and 6 in the divider, plus two 900mm doors and two 250mm infill panels, giving roughly 21.5 square metres of glass at the shortest height. Choose your ceiling height from 2050mm to 2600mm and the price adjusts. Delivery is nationwide, in as little as seven working days.
Deeper than it is wide. The 5050mm front run carries both doors and the divider runs 5445mm back from it, far enough to make two genuinely separate rooms rather than two alcoves. Suits a long narrow floorplate where you are working with the depth you have rather than the width.
Between £3,459.14 and £4,117.97 including VAT, depending on the ceiling height you choose and whether you want black ironmongery. At the most common height of 2400mm it is £3,815.52 with satin stainless handles.
That works out at roughly £160.89 per square metre of glass, which is the figure worth comparing against when you get a quote from an installer. It includes everything except fitting and the fixings into your own structure. Delivery is charged once per order at £100 plus VAT, however many kits are on it.
Twelve sizes between 2050mm and 2600mm. Above 2600mm the glass has to move to 12mm, which changes the price significantly, so taller openings are priced through the calculator rather than here.
Channel in silver RAL 9006, white RAL 9010, black RAL 9005 or anthracite RAL 7016, all the same price. Handles and hinges are satin stainless as standard, black for £98.81.
9 panels and two doors is a comfortable day for two people who have fitted glass before, or a long day for two who have not. The glass is made to size, so the work is setting out, cutting and fixing the channel, then glazing. Channel is supplied in 3m lengths and cut as you go.
Enough for privacy, not enough for confidentiality. Frameless doors have a small physical gap around the leaf by design, so they are not an acoustic solution. Where sound matters more than the frameless look, specify a framed door and 12.8mm acoustic laminate, which you can price in the calculator.
Nationwide, in as little as seven working days from order. Delivery is £100 plus VAT charged once per order rather than per partition, so a second kit on the same order costs no more to deliver.
A common assumption is that the divider is centred. It is not. Put it wherever suits the rooms you are making, avoiding the dry joins between panels and keeping 150mm away from any door leaf.
You are not buying a frame and sourcing glass separately. The kit contains the 9 glass panels, both door leaves, all the aluminium channel, the gaskets that go into the channel cleats, every dry join, the abutment join for the divider, and the full set of door ironmongery in your chosen finish.
The only thing you provide is the fixings into your own floor and ceiling, because those depend on what you are fixing into.
Reception areas, breakout spaces and training rooms. Because the front run is glazed for its full 5050mm, whatever sits behind stays visible, which matters where you want to see who has arrived.
Or price any size with the glass partition calculator, which covers straight, corner and T shaped layouts and gives you a scale drawing, a full materials list and the channel cut lengths before you order.
