Choosing a supplier
Choosing a glass partition supplier is not just about comparing the price of the glass. The system also needs the correct channels, joins, door hardware and made-to-measure panel sizes so everything works together when it reaches site.
For builders, contractors and businesses buying a complete partition, it helps to compare suppliers on the whole system rather than on individual components. A low price on one part is not much use if the panel sizes, door opening or remaining hardware still need to be worked out separately.
Check what is actually included. A complete glass partition can involve toughened glass panels, aluminium channels, gaskets, dry joins and door ironmongery. Building fixings depend on the substrate and are not supplied with our systems.
Toughened glass needs to be manufactured to its finished size. It cannot be cut or drilled after toughening, so dimensions and any required holes or cut-outs need to be correct before manufacture.
Consider whether the supplier can provide the layout you actually need. Our calculator supports straight, corner and T-shaped partitions, with frameless or framed door options and different door positions.
With National Glass Partitions, you can enter the finished opening dimensions, select the system and see the price online before placing the order. The calculator also works out the individual panel sizes and system components.
There are two ways to buy from National Glass Partitions.
If you want the complete made-to-measure system, use the online calculator to configure the partition, choose the glass and doors, see the price and order online.
If you already work with a suitable local glass supplier, you can instead order a glass partition kit without glass and source the glass separately.
Before ordering made-to-measure glass, measure after the finished floor, plastering and wall surfaces are complete. Enter the tight finished dimensions and do not make your own deductions for channels, joins or doors.
The calculator handles those allowances and divides the opening into suitable glass panels. Standard calculator panel width is up to 1100mm.
Enter the opening dimensions, choose the layout, glass, doors and finishes, then see the exact price, panel sizes, materials and layout before ordering.
