Each example is a 2400mm-high straight partition with 10mm toughened glass. The price is the same for silver, black, white and anthracite channel.
| Partition width | Fixed wall, no door | With a standard frameless door |
|---|---|---|
| 2 metres | £587.89 | £866.39 |
| 3 metres | £789.90 | £1,068.40 |
| 4 metres | £1,087.83 | £1,366.33 |
| 5 metres | £1,289.84 | £1,568.34 |
| 6 metres | £1,491.85 | £1,770.35 |
| 8 metres | £1,991.79 | £2,270.29 |

The finished width and height provide the starting point because they determine how much glass and channel the partition needs. Taller partitions may also require thicker glass, which increases both the material cost and the weight of the panels.
The shape of the partition matters as well. A straight wall is the simplest layout, while corners and T-shaped dividers require extra channels, joins and glass panels. This is why two partitions with a similar overall area can have different prices.
Door choice often creates the largest difference. A fixed wall has no door hardware, a standard frameless door is usually the least expensive door option, and a framed door adds an aluminium frame and different ironmongery. Double doors and additional doors increase the total further.
Glass and hardware choices also affect the price. Options such as thicker glass, sandblasted frosting, industrial-style applied bars, locks, handles and closing hardware are priced as part of the configuration. The four standard channel colours, silver, black, white and anthracite, are all the same price.
These examples use the same 2400mm height and 10mm toughened glass as the table above, making it easier to compare each system like for like.

The calculator prices a supply-only partition manufactured for the finished opening. It does not hide fitting or building-work assumptions inside the figure.

A frameless glass door uses patch fittings and has clearances around the leaf. A framed door closes into an aluminium frame and can take a lever latch and strike plate. The extra frame and ironmongery increase the price, but the rebate provides a more enclosed closing line.
The upgrade from a standard frameless door is £571.50 for a single framed-door option or £664.61 for a double framed-door option. Select the door in the calculator to see the total for the actual opening.
Measure the completed opening after the flooring and plastering are finished. Enter the smallest wall-to-wall width and finished-floor-to-ceiling height.
Measure the width and height in three places and use the smallest finished dimension.
Select a straight, corner or T-shaped arrangement, then choose the glass, channel colour and door configuration.
The calculator works out the glass panels, component quantities, layout drawing and channel cut lengths before the system is added to the basket.
The calculator makes the necessary system allowances. If the layout is unusual, send a sketch and finished dimensions to sales@nationalglasspartitions.co.uk.
A frameless glass partition can often work out cheaper than a completed stud wall once the timber or metal framing, boards, insulation, plastering, decorating, doors and any internal glazing are all included. Glass also retains daylight and avoids several finishing stages.
A stud wall may still be more suitable where concealed services, complete visual privacy, fire performance or stronger acoustic separation is the priority. These NGP systems are not fire rated, so the right comparison depends on what the finished room needs to achieve.

Configure a complete made-to-measure partition with glass, channel and the selected door hardware. Complete glass orders are normally delivered to UK mainland addresses in seven working days; the delivery date is confirmed for every order.
