When designing a glass partition, we begin with what you are trying to achieve: the division of space, appearance, acoustics, privacy, security and available budget. The partition also has to work as part of the building, not just look right on a drawing.

Seeing the building ourselves means we can confirm the measurements, understand the space and design the partition around what is actually there before the accurate price and drawings are produced.

If the estimate works for you and NGP will install it, the site-visit fee is paid and our team surveys the space.

We revise the design with you until it works, then manufacture and install the approved partition.

Getting the Door Position Right
The position and type of door can affect the whole glass partition design. We consider the route through the room, nearby light fittings and other obstructions, as well as the clear opening needed for accessibility.
We also identify arrangements that are not practical, such as placing a framed door directly on a corner or a frameless door immediately next to a wall, and suggest a workable alternative.

Designed, checked and approved
Scale Drawings Before Your Partition Is Made
After the site details return to our office, we confirm the accurate price and create scaled 2D and 3D drawings. These show the proposed layout, door design and principal sizes so that you can understand how the finished partition will work in the space.
The drawings are not a take-it-or-leave-it proposal. We work through the design with you and revise it until we have a practical solution that reflects what you want. Manufacture proceeds after the final drawings have been approved.
Bespoke solutions where the building demands them
Designed Around the Difficult Parts
The initial estimate normally becomes the accurate price after the site survey. The main differences arise where the partition must be specially built around an existing feature or where the glass has to be carried upstairs.
Where necessary, we can include bulkheads or stud infills as part of the proposed solution. The purpose is not to add complexity. It is to resolve practical issues on paper before manufacture and installation begin.

A separate CAD service for bespoke glass
Need Made-to-Measure Glass with Holes or Cut-outs?
Some bespoke glass does not form part of a partition installation but still needs a proper manufacturing drawing. For suitable larger panels, you can send us your dimensions and a clear sketch. We can turn that information into the CAD drawing the glass factory requires, prepare the drawing for a fee and manufacture the glass to the approved design.
This service is intended for substantial bespoke panels rather than small pieces of glass. Contact us with the size, shape, thickness and required holes or cut-outs so we can confirm whether the project is suitable.
